
"The display module went into an endless update loop which came on every time I drove the car for approximately two weeks.

System would not come back online, as system re-boot appeared to consistently fail" Constantly cycling a boot up screen that was not part of a normal operating re-start. "Does not respond to voice or manual operations" This seems to be a too common problem according to the service tech and Toyota does not stand behind it. I can't answer calls with it or change functions on the system, some of the functions to the radio and CD player can no longer be accessed from the touch screen. "The bottom half of my touch screen no longer works. I don't feel this is very safe driving, especially when driving in an unfamiliar area" I need to lean over and cup my hand around the display to block the sun. "When driving during the day, the sun glares on the screen making it impossible to read. "Speedometer difficult to r,dad and not accurate- significant Other - display for odometer& temp is very poor c of pared to any other rental car I have been in Nav display has too small a font to read at a glance Back up camera isn't as goo" the brightness or contrast adjustments do not help" "in bright daylight the backup camera is unviewable.

"CD got stuck in player - had to replace entire unit which included the GPS - I had to re-program everything when Toyota put the new system in. "It just kept playing the CD over and over and over. "The backup camera screen is often washed out by strong sunlight and is useless under these circumstances."
